30,000 recycled MTA New York city metro cards
 

Lin Shih-Pao collected 30,000 New York City metro cards from various locations such as churches, schools, and the subway to create the sculpture representing the 12 Chinese Zodiac characters.

 

In 2018, the artist completed the first animal- the Dog, and named it "Hope" to encourage all dreamers never to give up until their dreams are realized. During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the artist completed the "Ox," encouraging people worldwide to unite against the pandemic.
